Younger guys tend to fall into that trap more often than older guys, simply due to hormones, and a lack of self control.

Eventually, as men mature a little bit more, we're able to control ourselves better. Obviously, that doesn't apply to every man, but then neither does your assertion, either.

It's really an individual thing, but most men don't actually let their little head control their decisions.

They don't. But women keep themselves because they're chicken💩's, expecting the men to ALL of the heavy lifting. And since you NEVER give any decent man a reason to approach that relegates you to only the guys who as you put it, "think with thier second head". Because those guys will approach anything with a 🐱.
