I needed help with an important decision I need to make soon. It's something he is more of an expert about cause of the job he had for years. I haven't said anything to him in years. We have chatted before since he's been married. Completely platonically.

Our situation was so long ago, when we were in out late teens and early 20's. He said he had nothing against me from the past and I am definitely over all of that.

It just doesn't make any sense for me for him to be so rude. We have bee cordial and respectful. Now he made me feel like cussing him out. But forget him. He's blocked and deleted. I will find someone else for an opinion to help me make a decision.

Maybe his wife is that jealous, I don't know. But he kept opening the messages to read them, but not responding. And didn't block me. Just weird in my opinion.

Or he could have been more of an asshole than you realized at the time. What often happens is that the person you married- this applies to women as much as men- changes. If you've gone to the effort to keep yourself in shape; have maintained a healthful lifestyle; and say, he has put on 20# since you met and doesn't do anything; he could look 15 years older than` you know. Or, of course, the reverse. In either case I think when those things happen it's almost like violating a contract. You forgive most things but of you're the more vigorous looking spouse or girlfriend than he is- in a sense- changing the terms of the contract. Some things can't be helped but if it
is something that more exercise, more attention to style; I think you should kindly point it out to him along with whatever version of the phrase. Plus you're about s exciting as a 50# bag of red potatoes in the sack is appropriate to your household- he should get the message. If he doesn't and this is the situation- only worse- in 5 years.; maybe counseling or... an affair
