Yeah there was a girl in college. She looked a little lost at the bus station and I helped her out with directions. We happened to be going the same way and we ended up talking for like an hour. We had so much in common. Every word that escaped her mouth I agreed with. Same views, interests, sense of humor. She was playful and fun. Felt like she was the Sun. We exchanged socials. It seemed the attraction was mutual for about 2 weeks. Every day we'd see each other and message and just keep it going. We had the longest hug I've ever had even if you count the relationships I've been in. It felt magical.

But I'll be honest. I got obsessive. She was addictive to be around and I started waiting for her outside of her classes which kinda weirded her out. Most of her class was a bunch of girls and they were like "Who's that guy standing out there?" It kind've embarrassed her if I had to guess. She started getting distant without saying why. Then days went by of us not seeing each other and I was starting to get depressed. Felt like I fucked everything up. And I think I did to this day. She met up with me again and you could see she was definitely distant. It wasn't verbalized, but she basically gave the vibe she didn't want to see me anymore.

Pretty brutal, but life goes on. She wasn't the one for me and I wasn't the one for her. Plain and simple. A girl who's as into you as you are into them wouldn't have an issue with your obsession about them. That's just my take on it. I also think I didn't act fast enough. I think she was hoping for me to make a move earlier, but I was frozen in fear of ruining anything.

Yes, my first "crush" at age 16. I was completely smitten with her but I was totally inexperienced, a year younger than all my classmates, and just horribly awkward. She liked me but I never did anything to advance the relationship.

Of course.  The funny thing is, she actually didn't like me at first. Maybe it was exactly because she talked back and acted dismissive to me. It was an interersting challenge wearing her down.

I had a long distance relationship with somebody for 3 years. We went to school together and after freshman year we both had to transfer to different schools. She was saving it for marriage. I would never do that agian.
