Is he interested in me or just enjoying the attention/friendship? I’d really appreciate honest outside opinions!

I’m confused about a guy I’ve been close with. We knew each other before he became my coworker, and now we’re good friends and coworkers. He always touches me a lot like touching my belly, ruffling my hair etc.. also sends cute messages after i helped him like. “you’re my lifesaver 🫶” or “you’re too sweet.” I think he likes physical touch to people but everyone says he touches you a lot.

But he’s never asked me out or defined the relationship. His actions feel romantic, but he never makes it official.

His actions feel romantic but he never makes it official? To me, he's using the quiet approach. It's a timeless, classic one. Especially in the 20's age range. I might be wrong, maybe he just enjoys seduction for the boost. There's only way to find out, calling him out. I would have liked it in this age range, if a girl called me out, it would have helped me lol. You can call him out more or less subtly, depends on your style?

mmmm i would say his personality is outgoing and sociable. but he says himself is introverted. He likes to make jokes. He’s sweet and helpful to others, but also a little hard to read emotionally.

My personality is more protective and tend to give a lot when I like someone.

we are in unstable situations because we come from different countries and we have own future lives. i’m going to transfer to university and he will have job. I am thinking maybe that makes harder to be in relationship. maybe not haha.

A sweet and helpful cannot be wronged by whatever you do, intelligently, so... If I were you I could call him out, humorously, then I would be serious in case he also reacts humourously. Alternatively, I could use his tactic, mimicry his behaviors and gestures, aka I would touch him and move on into his personal space like he does to you

he is 3 years older than me, and we do follow each other on social media. i’ve never done first move to guy so do you have any advice by chance?

Maybe start out mellow and ask him if he just wants to grab a cup of coffee or perhaps ask him if he wants to go for a short walk during a break at work. Maybe think of some way to let him know that you are single?
