My boss called me a beautiful girl? do you think he is interested?

Its my first day at work and my boss told a nurse to "train a BEAUUUUTIFUL!! young lady (me)".

I blushed in embarrassment which he said in front of everyone in the office.

Prior to this, we exchanged some boring small talk, his voice sounded bored and dull as he gave me some career advice. He made no effort to be friendly or get to know me. I had no idea he thought I was that beautiful, that he had to make such a huge announcement in front of everyone.

But I am very attracted to him. He works out and has muscles. I don't plan on dating him but maybe after I leave job, I will. Should I flirt back? but im still not sure if he is interested

You've only known him for a day, so it's not much info to go on. You know how it is... you can find someone physically appealing without finding them attractive in the romantic sense.

the way he said it, he made it sound like i was a tremendously beautiful girl. its shock if he wasn't interested in me. Guys usually don't go out of their way to compliment a girl this way unless if she really struck him

Oh I’m sure he said it sincerely! I’m just saying that as a man, I’ve encountered many women I find very physically appealing that I wasn’t “interested” in. If that makes any sense.

I suggest you see how things go and if he does anything else to give you the impression he is interested in you or if he was just paying you a compliment.

You could try some subtle flirting to see how he responds.

I suggest something more like chatting and laughing at his jokes if they are funny. Also some playful touching, like on one of his shoulders. Basically just hanging around him to see if you can get a read on him.
