Like, for women, it makes you do dumb things like constantly checking if someone is online, checking to see if they watched our stories, wanting to talk about them all the time, coming up with situations to try and interact with them more, possibly consider moving somewhere to try and get something to work.

Yes, more likely if you're 15 than 50. But yes. The thing is guys are not good at being subtle, or at noticing when YOU'RE being subtle. Painfully, obviously direct communication works best. "Hey, do you like me", "Do you want to go out?" These kind of things can be hard to say, but guessing wrong has serious consequences These days, so if you want something to happen, you may have to make it happen

I've asked my close guy friends and they say they simply think about the girl a lot and often daydream about her and find the excuses to contact her or meet her. Most of them don't check when their crush was online and they don't talk about their crush openly. They either keep it to themselves or might mention her once or twice while talking to a close friend.

I like a woman, I go and tell her directly, make my intentions and feelings crystal clear. If she reciprocates, fine. If she doesn't, that's fine too, I just move on to someone else.
