What does my friend putting her hand on my chest mean?

ok, so I'm not very good at this stuff because I've never been in a relationship with a girl before. but anyway, I invited my friend over to my house to watch a few movies recently. after about 2 movies we just decided to talk for a bit. she broke up with a guy recently who screwed her over by joining a fraternity and lying about how he felt about her. she's been really sad since the break up and I've talked to her about it through texts and all that. I told her that if she ever needed someone to talk to that I'm there for her. a little bit before she had to leave she leaned her head on my shoulder and put one of her hands on my chest. of course I hugged her back, but does she consider me a comfort or something from her doing that? I like her a lot and would like to be more than friends with her, but I hate it when she's sad like this, although understandably . sorry about the length but I wanted to provide a little backstory

i forot to mention: I also think she may like me as well from what she's been saying to me and acting like around me
