What does Fortitude mean to you?

What does it mean to be really mentally and physically strong in your personal experience?

Looking in the mirror in the morning when everything is gray and stale and all you want to do is be anywhere else, or be anyone else


And still managing to say “Time to start the day”


It might seem simple because we do it so often but somehow it takes a bigger piece out of you every day. And only gets harder

I am very aware that I should take it with a pinch of salt all opinions to my questions. But I can't help and wonder whether what you have written here is personal. Or rather how much of this applies to you personally? Is this how you feel on most days?

It is certainly inspiring by personal experience (unfortunately)
But it’s not to be taken as a literal cry for help.
I am fine most days

But I can’t say that sometimes things aren’t just hard for no reason

This one time I walked through a plate glass window to get to a guy that hurt my sister. Then I broke my hand smashing is driver side window and then beat his ass covered head to toe in blood from a ton of cuts. Never counted. I eventually passed out, but my sister said it was well after that guy ran away leaving his keys in the car.
