Why is my ex talking stage‘s friend liking my stories?

He started following me like a month after we had finished it, I didn’t follow him back, and now he started liking my stories. I heard if guys are truly over a girl, they give their friends the green light to go for them, I am not over him though, so that would upset me, could it mean something else?
