Why are disabled men ignored by women or not taken seriously?

That’s not really a gender issue and more of a society issue. It sucks for those disabled. For me personally I already work with the disabled, from people my age to geriatrics. If I’m seeking a partner I don’t want to be with someone else who I need to take care of in ways beyond a normal relationship or have to accommodate. If I were in a long term relationship and something were to happen and leave him disabled that would be a different story. That said it also depends on the disability is it something severe like quadriplegia or something like blind or deaf that also factors into the decision.


If I didn’t work in health care my attitude would probably be different.

I had a friend in 2019, she faced the same difficulties. Her crush used her.

People are just downright vile.

I don't know if you'd be open to it, but I read in a gay fiction once that the main character has better luck in dating another disabled person. More freedom and more empathy.

If you are a wealthy disabled man you will not be ignored by women. Nobody wants a poor broke disabled fucker, unless the woman is disabled or fucked up. This is reality get used to it. Money is the equalizer. If you are disabled or fucked up and not wealthy or have a super paying job, be prepared to be alone, unless you find an equally fucked up woman.
