Guys: why does my best guy friend keeps touching my legs?

So lately my best guy friend started to touch my legs and highs during class. When he began to do it he was sort of shy and quick, now his hand is on my leg for the rest of the class. The thing is that when he does it he:

. Runs his hand from my knee upwards

. Stops at my thigh where be pinches and rubs

. He has his body pointing towards me

. Only does it in class not during recess

. He also pits his head or hand on my shoulder

. When he is touching, he is delicate but intense, he seems very concentrated

I'm very confused as he is supposed to like this other friend of mine. Is he attracted to me physically/ emotionally?

Why is he touching my legs in such a weird way?

my friend does that :/ the gentle and loving/playful way :O he has a girlfriend too.

he touches my leg and squeezes it. slaps my butt once in a while. caress my face while telling me I'm so cute/my skin is so soft. he likes to sleep on my thighs or tummy. he likes to take my leg and put them on his. I have a habit of resting my leg on things :( he buys me food and buys me bags of candy.

and he's just a friend to me. like a brother that looks after me! some guys are just touchy like that...it doesn't always mean something when they touch you. but they don't touch everyone...so I'm sure he was physically attracted.

He's attracted to you physically and possibly emotionally. He's touching your legs in such a weird way because he wants you to know that he wants to be more than just friends with you. Maybe like the other guy said, friends with benefits.

Right! The fact that most reply’s are either missing the “recess” part or simply doesn’t care is amazing. Maybe they’re kids too.
As for the rubbing of leg etc. Tell him to STOP! You and your so called friend are too young to even be considering who likes who! Yet alone getting touchy feely! Focus on your school work, not “boys”! This problem just keeps getting worse and worse. Next thing you know it’ll be toddlers having boyfriends and girlfriends. Some moms think it’s cute and innocent. Smfh the nerve of you even asking! That’s why kids don’t need all access to the WORLD WIDE WEB! God help us.
