Why do you guys think I’m boring?

Years ago around I was dealing with a guy and we had to argument. He admitted to me that he only sees me when he’s bored and has nothing else to do and whenever we get into arguments he only text me to see if I’m still dumb enough to let him back into my life

And now this year, I realized I was a backup plan for a guy I have known for years and he only come see me when he’s bored every time he texted me and ask to see me He says he’s bored and there are signs he only comes to see me when his other plans fall through

Why do guys view me as boring? I’m a homebody, I do like to go out every now and then but I do prefer to stay home and relax when I have company I provide a comfortable space I put on a good movie to watch we always have good conversations and laugh. I felt like these guys enjoy their time around me and spending time with me but that’s not the case. I was a backup plan for one guy and the other guy only came to see me when he had nothing else to do. Why am i viewed this way?
What am I doing? That’s not entertaining or would make a guy only come to see me when he has nothing else to do.

Sounds like the type of men you’re attracted to is all wrong. I mean to me you sound nice. But I won’t lie you’d have to be somewhat cute as well. But other than that a lot of what you’re saying sounds like a perfect night to me. Stay in, make some food together, watch a movie. I’d prefer tat to going out partying. I don’t like going out in large crowds. It’s also possible the age of men you’re going out w. Not only that people tend to put off some vibe they’re not aware of that attract certain people. For instance women who have been victims of SA have a higher chance of ending up w a man like that. Not that they go looking for it. It just happens.

It's about the guys that you let into your life, the ones you choose. There's plenty of guys that are also not as flashy, homebodies, looking forward to watching a movie and cuddling, but maybe they're not who you're attracted to..

First guy sounds like he was just trying to be mean and hurt you. Second guy sounds like he’s taking advantage of too many instances that you allow him over, potentially just for hookups if that’s what’s going on with him (or what he’s trying to work towards). In any case I wouldn’t internalize anyone’s negative opinions or statements to or about you. The don’t define who you are or what you have to offer.

You’re not boring, you’re entertaining. You’re also lonely enough that you allow men to use you like you use your tv. You need higher standards and stronger boundaries
