If you take a shower or bath every day, should you change your undies and socks every day as well after you take a shower/bath?

That's the idea behind taking a shower. You want to remove dirt, dust and impurities after a long day or after a sweaty night.

What would be the purpose to take a shower and then slip into the old soiled underwear and dirty, smelly socks that have been on your sweaty feet for 12 or more hours. Slipping into those dirty clothing defies the idea behind taking a shower to get clean from dirt.

I am sure that there are a number of people that actually put their filthy clothing back on after they have attempted to get clean. You might as well save yourself the trouble of taking a shower and wasting so much water if you want to get back into the old clothes.
