I met a guy, he approached me (commented on the fact that we both had to step outside to vape), and we chatted on and off through the night whenever we were outside at the same time.

Conversation was easy and flowed naturally.

A week or two later we bumped into each other again at the same place. He greeted me as soon as he saw me and we spoke. Each time I’ve seen him since he always hugs me hello and we chat for at least 15-30 minutes as I generally arrive as he is planning to leave to get home to his son.

He is divorced and I am going through a divorce, but it’s still fresh and only 5 months since my husband left me. This guy has never asked for my number but always takes time to speak to me and we often speak about our divorces, kids, life in general. It’s easy conversation however I am attracted to him and sometimes feel awkward.

the last time we bumped into each other we spoke for a much longer period of time. Before we went our separate ways he said “you always know where to find me”.

How do i know if he’s interested? Is he not asking for my number because of my current situation or is that a sign that he isn’t attracted?

He is obviously interested in you but not so much as a person but more to get into your pants.

He is divorced and thus, has probably no access to "fresh meat" to get rid of his testosterone and now he bumped into you and you give him the time of day. You indicate that you are receptive to his conversations and that is exactly where he wants you to be.

I would be very careful how I handle this situation as you somehow give me the impression that you are also desperate to get into a relationship otherwise, you would have just cut the conversations short. There is no such thing as just being friends with a guy that has no access to fornication and that seems pretty desperate.
