How do I explain to my player 18 that dumping his girlfriend 20 and focusing on his basketball career will lead to him having his choice of women?

Seems to me your about to give him some very bad advice. All the fame and money in the world can't buy you real love and in the end real love with someone is all that really matters. For example look at our current president, all the money in the world and he had to settle for a gold digging whore from some Russian conglomerate nation who barely speaks English.

@katiesmuff TY for your opinion however its important to understand that he is an 18 year old man, and I need to give him advice that helps the life he going to have to lead as a man. You're providing, advice for females. Women are seeking intangible thinks like "real love" his tangible goal is having access to pretty women, he can easily obtain that if he reaches success, and achieves status.

@snapkingmatt Thats a good question, and dont be embarrassed that you dont understand this. Im not judging him for getting laid, however his current mindset, is that he needs to do all the things necessary to continued to have sex with this particular girl. Give her, time, attention, spend resources, etc. All of this takes away time from his career. What I am attempting to get him to understand that if simply focuses his time on his craft, he'll have his pick of beautiful women to choose from.

She still agreed. The thing with fame is that a guy doesn't know if the girl is into him or the lifestyle. Take Melania Trump, there's no way she chose to marry Trump because of him. He's not an attractive guy. He does provide a very good lifestyle, which is true for a good number of models. They marry rich people because of the lifestyle, not the person. Most people blasted Zuckerberg's choice for his wife, since she's not as attractive as some other people are. He probably chose her, because he saw enough to convince him, she wasn't with him just for the lifestyle.
