What does it mean when a guy acts so weird around a girl?

There’s a guy who I’ve met recently through friends and he seems to act really weird, like he’ll lock eyes with me a lot, when he first sees me acts a bit stunned like he’s forgotten what he’s saying, stutter a little, other times I’ve seen him talk to me and hold his hand up to prop his face with a slight tilt like he’s a bit awestruck. I’ve turned guys heads before but nothing like this, what gives? What’s going through this mind from a guys perspective? Sometimes when we meet I can tell he’s just out on deodorant and seems a bit nervous. He won’t necessarily talk to me much, just looks a lot and seems a bit destabilised. Btw- he is a good looking guy and I’ve not seen him like this with other girls, definitely not the stuttering.

What you are witnessing is a very intense form of attraction, combined with social anxiety or performance anxiety. Very common.

Yeah ok thanks and do you think the social anxiety is due to me or he’s like that in general, as he doesn’t seem to have that problem with other girls.

I acted similarly when I was near my crush. She gave me enough anxiety were I threw up a few times in the bathroom. I've never really had issues before that with anxiety.
