I got fired. The manager at work I was seeing blocked me?

I started this waitress job about 9 months ago everything was fine and dandy. They fired me the day before new years. Their loss. They fired me deadass 20 min before my shift it just was mad weird I was told by them im an amazing server, etc. but they had “no reason” to give me.

so I felt blindsided and disrespected but the thing that confuses me the most and hurts me the most is that there is a manager there I slept with. Nobody knows. We genuinely started to like each other. It wasn’t just a manager employee hookup like we went out on dates. They thought we looked cute together. He’s a very private person so he would never tell a soul so I know that wasn’t the reason. But I invited this dude to my apartment, we had sex multiple times, watched movies, sometimes it was nothing sexual we would just hangout watch movies.

I really trusted him and at work it was never obvious or known. It just happened it wasn’t like some crazy shit I just really liked who he was as a person and he liked me and he was always there for me as a friend. We confided in each other. I just would always hangout and have fun. He started like acting weird around Christmas time when I was still employed. barely texting me like I was omw to work and get a called that they’re firing me and couldn’t give me a reason and that they decided this days prior. This guy is one of the managers. I feel blindsided as hell bc I’m a great worker. Last day I worked I surprised him with a $80 jacket I was so excited to give it to him. He liked it. I was already driving to my shift when fired. I go home and find out he blocked me on everything except iMessage. As if I did something to him. He’s a very private person so I know he didn’t say anything about us but it’s just like why would he do this? I wanna see like opinions on this bc I was pissed he didn’t at least warn me I don't know especially after I gave him a present like I truly showed I cared for him and got stabbed in the back I just don’t understand?

Unfortunately things happen & in this case it seems like you were wrongfully terminated & although some would advise you to seek legal action if truth be it would probably cost you more in legal fees than it’s worth. As for you waitress experience you have so you can get a job at any restaurant & hopefully you learned a sleeping with management lesson.

If you live in the United States you can always spread a little holiday cheer & get back at the restaurant in the following ways.

1. File a report with the Department Of Labor in regard to bringing wrongfully terminated without reason.

2. File a report with the local Department Of Health & tell them you ate at the restaurant & when you went into the restroom there were rat droppings in the corner. One report I guarantee the restaurant will be fully inspected & checked for other violations as well.

3. Inform the local fire martial that fire exits are blocked & fire extinguishers are expired & tell them you work there & feel unsafe & you want to file a report anonymously.

4. If you know the owner of the restaurant get a hold of that person & tell them you were fired if you didn’t have sex with the manager & then you had sex with the manager & was fired anyway.

First of all you were already suspicious that’s why you snooped online through one of his friends. So you had some doubts. You can say it was to see their vacation pics, which you could have waited till he came back to see some. So that’s not the real reason why you snooped. You had your suspicious, especially in today’s society. When someone doesn’t have some form of social media people, especially women tend to see that as a red flag. Like why don’t you have social media? Are you hiding something? That’s usually what women think. Their first thought is he just likes his privacy.
Second, as far as confronting him, I’d just move on. He’s going to try to tell you a lot of things to get you back. Well I didn’t want to tell you cause you’d never talk to me but we’re in the middle of a divorce. Or we’re still cordial, we felt this would be good for our daughter to see both her parents together. He’s probably going to tell you she’s crazy, or he doesn’t even like her like that anymore.
I’d just move on. If he ask you what’s up, just tell him I’m not about breaking up families. Time to move on.

He wasn’t the one that did. And I keep saying this but he’s an extremely private person. He would never disclose that or use that against me. It was other management that did it. Once I started there even other management was trying to get me with him. They thought we would be cute together. It took months for us to start liking each other. It wasn’t some hook up scenario but we never showed that in the workplace.

I honestly don’t think that’s the case tbh. He’s extremely private and doesn’t get a lot of female attention. Even when I first started other managers and employees kept like pushing for us to date and stuff and it took months for me to pursue anything with him. So it wasn’t like some crazy hook up with my manager story we genuinely liked eachother. He took me out on dates, etc. we weren’t ever official yet bc I am healing from an abusive past relationship which he respected. But him blocking me I don't know if it’s bc other managers fired me and he’s part of management so he feels bad or didn’t wanna be involved, I don't know.

He also has had previous girlfriends that worked there in which everyone knew and everyone was fine with it. Everyone was telling me I’m his type he’s been single for a while and I just brushed it off for months but once we started texting and stuff I really actually liked his outlook on life and his vibe and it went from there. I was very hesitant at first. But yeah he’s been working there for over a decade, they all know he dated girls there. They never got fired over it. So it wouldn’t make sense.

Basically everyone else wanted to fire me and couldn’t give me a reason and I think to save his own ass, he didn’t wanna engage or warn me. He was in the sidelines. He is not the highest manager. He doesn’t have authority to fire. He may have some but if they told him to fire someone that’s what he would do but he doesn’t have that full capability if that makes sense.

Like I said, he has a record of actually dating girls that have worked there prior, years ago. He’s been working there for a decade. Management never had an issue w dating in the workplace as long as it’s kept professional. He liked me more than I liked him trust.
