What is a guys thought process when it comes to sleeping around vs choosing a chick?

Not sure how to word this, but I got a coworker/a guy that I'm seeing and well we saw each other once, he's asked to hang out the other day and I got injured at work the day prior so I couldn't drive and he's got a dui and his truck got taken so he said he would've come out if he could.

Anyways we were talking and it was initially about sleeping around and he said most he does sleep with he usually is interested in more than just that but I don't know if I should get hopes up or just have fun. Cause the more I learn about him and we talk, he is like a dream guy.

A guy that has a DUI, lost his vehicle, and likes to sleep around isn’t relationship material. He might check all the boxes, but someone like that is just going to continue sleeping around and be a heart breaker for anyone that falls for him. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, this guy is impulsive, doesn’t have his stuff together, and is just looking for sex.

Yeah, he is interesting to say the least cause he was married young and they divorced over something I'd not share on here but it was 3 years ago.

Don't sleep with a guy within the first three months of knowing him. If he is decent he'll stick around. If he's just trying to sleep around he'll ditch after a few weeks.
