My ex friend started talking with guy I like more, why?

I told my ex friend classmate that I like one guy. We don’t talk much with her now, but she started talking with the guy I like more and more, she usually sits with me, but today she tried to sit with him but there were no place and she sit with me again.
And also when I told her, that I like him and sometimes I jealous when he talks with her, she said like “you can take him, he’s not my type”, but now she acting differently.
I remember when our teacher forced him to sit with me because of assignment, I noticed she was starting at him with smile.
Should I ask her why she’s doing that or I don’t have any right for that?

It has been verified by experiment that women value men more if other women like them.

Perhaps intra sex competitiveness or perhaps it is just 'if she likes him, there must be something about him'.

I'd think you will provoke more of it, if you ask why she is doing that and will just be giving her power.

You girls are like that. Often a boy or man only has value to you if other girls are intrested in him.

When I was a teenager no girl in school would date me and thought I was a joke, I turned up at a school dance with a girl from out of state that was visiting my uncle's wife (her aunt) for a few months and dated her for a month or two before she went back. I got a lot of intrest from a lot of girls after that.

She's trying to get to you. Don't ask her, she might enjoy seeing you feel threatened like that. Talk to the guy and see if it leads anywhere. If it doesn't, or if he wants to talk to her more, he isn't worth it! I hope your ex friend backs off when she notices it doesn't bother you.
