Will he text me again or wonder why I stopped responding, or will he just move on?

I’ve been talking to this guy for about a month. Over the last ten days, his behavior suddenly changed. We talked about it, and he said everything was fine, but I didn’t feel that way because he stopped putting in effort. He promised he would change and fix things, so I gave him a week, but nothing changed. We were still talking, and eventually I stopped replying

In my opinion you shouldn’t be accommodating nonsense. It’s only been a couple weeks and he’s already showing his true nature. You gave him a chance to correct himself and he did the opposite, so regardless of whatever he does, what you should do is move on. If he’s not the type to consistently put in effort then he likely won’t be the type to chase. You shouldn’t want to deal with all this so soon into a new connection anyway.

I am not a fan of ghosting. I would suggest you should just woman up and tell him you are moving on. That way the situation is perfectly clear and you maintain your self respect.
