Why do women’s ideal male bodies differ from what men think women want?

Until proven otherwise, I don't think anyone knows what women's ideal bodies are, just like it seems much too ambitious to pretend knowing what men think women want.

Plus, these clichés and stereotypes have to depend on where you live on earth. That being said, I find the message below quite interesting:

Because women have to juggle two competing realities - protection from other male suitors who may be bigger and stronger 💪 like the potential rapists and robbers of the world - versus wanting a guy who's smooth and sensitive and not at the gym 7 days a week

Men spend too much time drooling over bodies at the gym, male models and celebrity sex symbol types. The reality is most women are not as picky as you think. The height-related nonsense that men constantly spew forth is particularly delusional.

The first problem with your question is grouping all women together and thinking all 4 billion of us have the same definition of an ideal male body. Those opinions are wide-ranging.
