@jennz6 I think girls like to tease GUYS - and I for one - love a 'teaser' and for me it was good fun, and in a few cases led to sex in a clandestine way.

You , so they tease you , because they don’t want to show their vulnerable side , so they use teasing to cover it up , it’s an ego thing that a lot of people do to cover up how they truly feel about you girls’ do this as well to a guy she really likes but to protect herself from being vulnerable to him , she will tease him and act like she isn’t interested when really she is. It’s like an invisible barrier they put up to protect themselves from being vulnerable. Some people are nervous to show that side of them because they are afraid of rejection or being let down if they actually show their heart towards you. So take it as a compliment unless they are teasing you in a rude way. But if it’s in a fun silly way , then they more than likely have the hots for you. I experienced this with girls’ that had the hots for me , but were nervous to show it , I witnessed guys’ being that way to girls’ as well , I am guilty of it sometimes as well when I really like a girl , it’s my way of getting her attention instead of straight out saying how I truly feel about her so I don’t feel like an idiot if she doesn’t feel the same way towards me , so I will tease her in a fun silly way hoping to get her attention and to make her smile , if she starts teasing me back then it makes it easier for me to ask her out on a date etc.. so it’s a way of showing interest in someone without coming on to strong right away

When I'm teasing a girl it's usually because I like her and then it also tells me a lot about her who she is what she's all about can she handle the joke can she dish it out her eyes will tell you everything if her mouth doesn't

And for me it's not that I just do it it's just in that moment of time the opportunity comes up with something that somebody said certain words or something and you just got to go for it but it's not a continue teasing harassment type or anything like that

When teasing it usually has a double standard or double meaning to it that could be sexual in a way it could be to make myself look stupid or just to say something to break the ice
