What do other guys have that I don't ?

I'm 20 years old and never had a relationship and I've never had a girl that was into me or wanted me, yet I see guys younger than me all the time with their girlfriends... what do they have that I don't?

I'm confident in myself, not really flashy confident but confident enough (as much as most other guys who have gfs).. what's wrong with me? all I want is what almost every other guy has... (not sex.. but companionship)

When you say that you are confidant: are you confidant around women? there is a difference in being confidant in yourself and in being confidant around the opposite gender. Also, are you super friendly towards everyone cause if that is the case then maybe a lot of women who are into you eventually give up because they feel that you are simply being friendly towards them. I don't think anything is wrong with you...I just think it may be harder for you to tell when women are into you so you assume they are not...there definelty must be someone into you and ironically its usually the person who you least expect to be into you that is! I'm exactly the same way, (except that I'm a girl)...I'm often told I'm gorgeous and I'm hit on by many guys but I feel all of them want me for sex and not for who I'am so I too have problems getting relationships because its not what guys want from me so I too feel unwanted and alone and it sucks but in my case I've been told its because I'am intimidating and also because I'm overly friendly so guys are turned off by that because they never know if I'm into em...this might be the problem you have as well: try finding out how women would rate you looks-wise because sometimes if your too hot they might get scared to pursue you :p

First and foremost you need to stop looking at what others have and focus more on what you have to offer. If you are comparing your life to that of other people you will never be satisfied with yourself. I do not think that your situation has anything to do with confidence, while yes girls are attracted to it, there are many other aspects about a man that we are interested in. Presentation never hurts anybody. Dress your best, be clean, use manners, open doors for women, make sure your breath is agreeable. Have goals, women like men that are going places, someone they can picture having a future with. Being educated or having a well paying job will show any woman that you are responsible and can take care of her. Have fun, be funny, smart, and listen. Most importantly, be yourself! There is not a simple and fast way to find the girl of your dreams. It will take time. The trick is to be patient and not second guess yourself. You do not know for a fact no one has been interested. Perhaps your seeking someone out has made you turn a blind eye to what is right in front of your eyes. Take a deep breath and give every woman that comes your way a chance, regardless of first impression. You might be surprised to find someone that genuinely cares for you.

It is not instantaneous. Stop trying so hard and be patient. Girls can sense when your desperate so just take it easy. Focus on bettering yourself. Join a gym, better your education, seek a promotion. Do things that make you happy love. Everything else will fall into place in due time. :)

I agree with you, the only thing we as humans truly desire the most is companionship and understanding. But if we ever want to get that we must first know ourselves in-and-out. So we can project our true-self to the outer world and they will receive your message that you send and there will be people who will respond to it positively...
