Do you tell guys about other guys?

So I have a guy friend who is absolutely a friend and he has a tendency to get jealous sometimes.
I recently gave a guy my # and he wants to take me out.
Do you guys normally discuss other guys with guy friends or should I keep it to myself until I feel out the vibe?

Normal friends don't get jealous you're dating.

Why the hell are you friends with a guy who isn't dating you, but tries to control who you hang out with? That sounds like a no-win relationship.

He sounds like a Nice Guy who complains on Reddit that you "friend zoned" him.

If you genuinely want to stay his friend, tell him he has to grow up and recognize you're allowed to hang out with others and he needs to control his emotions.

Also be very clear you're not dating him. I don't think he knows.
