Why are there no longer traditional and possessive men?

They want their husband to love them, and desire them but not to try to 'possess' them per se That does not make the man a cuckold, because he does not glom onto his wife in an insecure way, the same as the man does not want his wife to be possessive or jealous of him.

Why do women care so much what men think of them in this day and age? Men have largely moved on from the idea of dreaming about women and marriage. Often they go their own way and don't bother with women at all. Others only have sex a lot and skip the relationship part. Divorce is rampant as is infidelity. Men know this. The generation before got burnt bad trying to to go the traditional route as their parents had. The current generation has adapted.
