Are men really the main reason nightclubs are closing down?

More to do with conditions and culture.

When i was young coming up in the UK in the 2000s and when I went to libe in the US the clubbing and bar scene was huge. You could have a few drinks, go to litteraly any bar and club any night of the week and the place would be hopping. Meet people, chat up girls, maybe take a girl home or get a number, dance with girls or whatever and just have a really good night.

Now all thats gone. Women want you to buy them drinks but they won't talk to you or dance with you. For young ones now especially women its all about posting it on social media and with smart phones you could end up with social ridicule if you did something stupid or a girl rejected you. All these young men are all so so afraid of humiliation.

Young men dont seem to have any male friends or a crew.

For us lads it wasn't even about going to some bug fancy club but where you might end up. Few games of snooker, darts or pool at a local bar, maybe up a pub crawl. Maybe a party bus out of the city, maybe head to spain or somewhere. You might end up meeting up with nurses on their night off, line dancing with some divorcess, in a college dorm room with a girl while her friend tries to sleep, crashing a wedding, clubbing with skme hotties, meeting up with a hen party.

Then there is also the price of going out. What young guy under 30 can afford club/pub prices or taking a woman out?

I think it was women. Men are the people who spend the money at nightclubs because women most certainly do not, and actually refuse to do so very actively. These days, men are treated as being disposable by women, so there's no reason for men to go to nightclubs. Since men aren't going to nightclubs, women aren't either, except those women who are interested in other women, apparently. You follow that chain of logic, and you can easily blame nightclub closures on women.

Nightclubs are yesterday's news. With social media nobody has to deal with loud music and outrageous prices for watered down drinks to meet women.

Think the problem nightclubs are having now is that the women are coming are would come but there's no men to spend the money on drink or tickets.
Women will buy spend all their money on hair, make up and an outfit then buy one drink for the obligatory social media post and if they continue drinking theyve smuggled in a bottle of vodka in their handbags. If any average Joe approaches them they get butthurt as they all think they are a Kardashian
