Met this guy at a social event. He was from a third world nation originally but very educated. I had asked him how his home country was. He was downplaying it saying oh I’m from North America for the last ten years etc.

i remember thinking he was interested in another girl

This was a year ago. Since then he always watches all my insta stories etc often one of the first few.

for a year. Yesterday I realized he unfollowed me and removed me as a follower but not the girl.

not only is that rude it makes me think he thinks he’s better than me because of the PhD.

You think it’s rude. I don’t think it is. Maybe he doesn’t think he’s rude either. Everyone is free to make their own choices. Sounds like you’re mad he likes the other woman and not you. He probably unfollowed you cause he didn’t want to mess up his chances w this other girl. Maybe she’s younger, prettier.

We met like a year ago and he met the other girl a year ago too

Never met after that

Even if I am mad that he prefers her I’m allowed to be.

If he wanted to remove me as a follower why not do it one year ago?

He probably met someone else. Maybe he’s seeing this girl. You know how women can get, jealous. Maybe she’s dating him and seen you on his social media and questioned him about it. She told him to delete you. But too like I said maybe he met someone and didn’t want to ruin his chances by having you on his social media.
