first time i went to the pizzeria, he asked me if i wanted the receipt and I said "yes". He jokingly replied "extra 10 dollars!" I said "NO!" Then he laughed and handed me the receipt. I thought it was strangely playful because cashiers are never usually like that toward me.

The next day, I walked in and he instantly recognized me and said "Hey how are you?" in an intimate sounding way. Again I was taken back by the unusual friendliness so I replied: "I'm fine. Thanks for asking". Then looked at me with a huge sparkle in his eyes.

While I was standing there waiting for my pizza, I observed how he interacted with other customers and I noticed that he didn't have that same sparkle in his eyes with them. He didn't attempt to make conversation with them either like he did with me. After a while, he noticed I was looking at him and he flashed me a gleaming smile with excited shiny eyes. Then he turned away back to work.

Does it sound like he is interested? Should i make my move the next time?

I say this with zero disrespect but this sounds like a reach. Everyone is different in customer service, some friendlier than others but it doesn’t mean kindness should equate to romantic interest. Hence to state that you were observing him, I mean were your eyes glued during every single solitary interaction? I really doubt that. Obviously I could be wrong, I just see nothing significant.

Respectfully, you don’t know this man from a can of paint, so how can you determine what is an “enormous” (which is quite the expression) sparkle vs just catching him on a good day? Or whether or not that is just his personality in general? Just because you didn’t personally witness him do that with anyone else? Speaking of which, how could you even state that no other customer received that same treatment unless you were to sit there and watch every single interaction he had during your time there? You did not, if anything you most likely did your best to not be caught looking at him too much in the first place. You may not like my perspective on this because you’re being prideful but if you put that aside, you’d see that my take is just as fair as yours, regardless of whether or not I was there to see it.
