Yes, absolutely. Most of the time it’s just a maturity thing or an ego shield. Once they find someone they're genuinely afraid to lose, all that player stuff disappears.

Sometimes the “player” is just playing a different game because he can’t find the one he really wants. I absolutely have seen some of them change when they do find it. They just chose to have some fun in the mean time until they did.
