Who is in the wrong?

I broke up with my boyfriend but we decided to still talk and remain friends. He was going through career trouble, his job was overworking and understaffing him, wrecking havoc into his personal life: extreme Fatigue, depression, self neglect. He is desperately looking for a new job. I was very worried about him so I was giving him a lot of advice and suggestions over text. At one point, he complained that I was "mansplaining" because I was already giving him a lot of advice that he was already aware of. Honestly, I wasn't "mansplaining " at all, just very worried about him trying to help him any way that he can. But he got super mad because I made him feel like he didn't knew what he was doing. I'm guessing my advice offended his ego. On the other hand, I was also super offended that he said I was mansplaining. So he refused to talk to me for 2 weeks. One day, he came back and said that "we can continue being friends, only if you never tell me what to do ever again"

I told him, I wasn't interested in being friends with him anymore. Because this just sounds so immature.
