Do men use different approaches. Well yes. There's not one approach for all men. Answering you literally because you asked lol.

My approach is to be genuine, not annoying, and recognize body language in others. If someone looks like they don't want to be bothered... leave them alone. If they make eye contact, have open body language, smile at you, I'll go over and say hi and never use stupid pick up lines or try to impress anyone. It's subtle but not aggressive. I say proactive because I will approach people kindly.
