Even untrained dogs are more so than any other pet known to be willing to give up their lives to protect their owner.

As soon as i dedicate to be willing to give my life to protect someone, it's like the psychological environment becomes native to how our biology evolved and there's no need for complex philosophical ideologies and cope.
