Why do guys like preppy girls?

There is a guy that I like and I'm guessing he is considered a "skater boy" but all he dates is preppy girls.

but he isn't the only one.

All the guys I like, whether it be a preppy guy, skater guy, or an emo/scene guy, like preppy girls?

It really is bringing down my self esteem because I know I'm not an ugly girl, and I try not to get into any drama. And I'm not fat. I'm just normal. But seriously, what is it that draws guys to preppy girls?

depends on what your definition of 'preppy' is... true preps are the ones with lots of old money who wear polos and argyle and ralph lauren cable knit sweaters but don't make a show of their money. the "noveau riche" are the new rich who wear hollister and abercrombie but aren't actually preppy.

i'm here to tell you that I'm pretty classic prep, minus the rich part, I just dress the part, and my experience is that guys tend to go for the more unique, bohemian-type girls. or the really casual sporty ones.

even the ones who don't dress slutty still dress girly. guys usually prefer more feminine girly girls and they're attitudes attract a lot of guys. even the ugly preppy girls have no problem talking to guys and being fun that's why they like them.

Jeans and their tight hollister and abercrombie tops.

Those company's make some ridiculous colours, but because of that, preppy girls find the colour that looks the best on them, and naturally if they like it, we'll like it.

When a girl finds something that's comfortable and they like, they generally appear more confident and fun to us. We find that attractive. Draws us towards them.

My girlfriend is preppy as well as all my ex's. Then again, so am I. I just like a girl who can look really nice while also being intelligent. The clothes that preppy girls wear show off their sexy features without exposing much. This tells guys that they're sexy but still innocent.

well I like any kind of girls, but for soe reason the preppy girls do get my attention a litle but more, I think its because they seem a little bit more talkative and sometimes they look "easy"

why do guys not want to date me because I'm mainly depressed an stressed and don't talk a lot? Is i t because i'm emo?
