I met this guy about a week ago and today we went on our first date. At the end of the date he said he really liked me and we kissed and he said he felt really close to me...then he took off his necklace he said he's not taken it off in 5 years and he gave it to me...and he said its so I can look at it and be reminded of him. I'm just really worried because a friend of mine thinks this is something players do to get a girl to sleep with them, but I want a relationship and I think I'm falling in love with him, I don't want to get my heart broken.

ok I just did the same thing with a girl I like...she gave me her ring I gave her my...ummm dogtags...i know sounds stupid but its MINE lol. anyway I gave that to her because I have real feelings for her and I want her to think of me when she sees it in her room...hopefully not garbage lol. He gave that to you honestly because he really likes you...here's a tip tho...DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH HIM BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU ARE RUNNING A STRONG RISK OF HIM LOSING INTEREST. Take your time with this guy and reciprocate his feelings but try not to have sex for a while. if he was a big time player he would have lots of necklaces,lol. sometimes people willsay bad things about the guy jus cause, take it slow and you should be fine either way, nothing ventured nothing gained.it sounds like a nice gesture to me tho, and he may really be sincere. never get your hopes high on anyone tho, because time will tell anyway. he may be worth the risk to see, or not. but you can tell a player after awhile, don't evr do anything too quick, , but take note on how much he listens to you and how much time he spends with you. time will tell.

Don't get serious until you know what's going on. If he actually likes you he won't be put off and annoyed if you don't get physical. Just take it slow until you know him better. That necklace move and everything he said on the first date would make me suspicious too because it does seem a little sly and rehersed due to how forward it all is for a first date. See where things lead and see if he actually puts you as a priority.

Well then don't have sex with him, to me it does kind of sound like your being played, I knew a guy who did that to girls, he had aqbout 14 of the same necklace and he did it to as many girls as he could and then once he got what he wanted he took the necklace back and moved on to another girl.
