Nope. I know a guy that slept with every checkout girl who worked at a certain food market over a 2 year period. He told me girls who fall for him are just things to play with and to make him feel good and that they weren't special. The next ones gonna have and offer the same as the previous one. So to him sex and girls were nothing special because they were all the same and far too easy to get.

Thing was he was very confident with girls because he truly didn't care or give a sh*t about them as long as he got what he wanted and he always got what he wanted. If they stopped putting out or started with drama he would just move on to the next and they knew that.

So every time I see/hear a girl saying how a guy has got to have confidence all I can do is laugh at their ignorance.

I'd say that yes, they can feel bad. Now I'm sure they don't feel terrible over everyone they encounter, but if the situation causes it then yes I think they can feel guilt or regret at hurting someone.

HOWEVER: the desire to chase a the new "ass of the week" is higher on their priorities so it doesn't sit too deep for them for too long. It's kind of like taking food from someone and seeing them break down into tears: You might feel terrible that you did that to another person...but you got food and now you aren't hungry, so deep down you are comforted.

Seems like all your other answerers forget the fact that players are human. They might feel LESS of something, or be able to SUPPRESS the feeling but they are just as vulnerable to at least experience the discomfort of affecting someone in a bad way.

I think some of them do, and some of them don't. It depends on how strongly they rationalized their behavior and how deep their selfishness runs.

There are people who will decieve others because they initially see nothing wrong with it (for whatever reason), but later when they see their victim hurt they feel bad about it. Of course, there are also those who love playing games and messing with other peoples' feelings, and in their case they're not likely to care at all. It's more common to feel guilt though. What you don't see often is anyone, guy or girl, apologizing for what they did.

I think there's a certain point when a guy just decides he very much likes having sex with different women, and at that point he kind of disassociates with the girls he is abusing. He stops caring because that side of things doesn't interest him. Because girls keep falling for it and he keeps getting what he wants. Of course there is the occasion girl who is very special to the player. This girl is usually referred to as "the baby's momma."

I'm not sure. It varies between people, obviously, but it takes a big person to admit they were wrong and feel guilty about doing something like this to anyone.
