How important to you are a persons teeth?

Girls and guys, when you see an attractive girl or guy, they have a nice body, put together and then they smile. What do you prefer to see when they smile? Straight, pearly white teeth? Do you like a gap? Do you not mind yellow or brown teeth?

When it comes to girls, straight, white teeth. Guys, decent but white.

I have braces...so...I already had straight teeth to begin with but I had extra teeth that needed to be pulled(as opposed to my wisdom teeth being pulled) and now I have 4 spaces in my mouth(hence the braces).

I have a very soft heart for people that have dental problems cause I have had my share. I honestly wouldn't care if someone didn't have perfect teeth because there is more to a person then how their teeth look. The cost of dental procedure's is ludacris. It's like $5000 for a damn implant. I would at least want the person to have teeth and for them to be straight but they don't have to be pearly white. It can be a little bit yellow but no more then that. I also wanted to tell you that my mom had the same thing as you. She had four extra teeth and so now she has 4 small spaces in her mouth. She never had braces though but it doesn't look bad at all so you have nothing to worry about.

teeth are really important to me. I can't do brown teeth, nothing really crooked or noticeably yellow. I prefer straight white teeth. they can even be off white as long as they aren't detracting from your appearance. if I notice someone has bad teeth I probably won't be attracted. gaps are fine tho

doesn't have to be perfect, I know a girl or 2 that have some subtle gap or flaw in their teeth that are very attractive.. just don't look like you're from hardcore banjo territory

No...we believe in dentists and brushing our teeth. Everytime I see a pic of a British person they have brownish-yellowish crooked teeth.

I mean, perhaps that's common and acceptable over there, but I just see it as different.

Actually Americans drink so much fluoride in general compared to other countries. The water supply is heavily concentrated with flouride mixture which leads to why there are much much higher cases of fluorosis than British people. The US isn't the best picture for perfect dental care... www.fluoridealert.org but it doesn't help that british sweets on average contain much more sugar then the US

not attacking, I mean inevitably Americans will on average have whiter teeth then the UK and most other countries, it isn't just their water supply that is tainted with flouride, its in their food too. But dental hygiene is important, you can still have naturally white teeth and live in the UK, at least mine seem it (even by American standards)

Teeth aren't too important to me. As long as they aren't brown and the person takes good care of their teeth, it's fine. I wouldn't be too picky because my teeth are nowhere near perfect, and I understand that genetics and past eating/brushing habits can contribute to some imperfections.
