Why do guy's jackets smell so good?

my boyfriend let me borrow his jacket one day when I forgot my own. I couldn't help thinking how good it smelled, and my friend mentioned the same thing that happened with her. Could anyone give me a 'scientific' or idea why this happens?

One already mentioned it but, it is likely his scent that you like. Men will often talk about how good women they like smell too. A girl I once like always smelled really good to me and she thought it was odd when I commented on it once because she had just been running and said she thought she smelled terrible.

More to attraction than sight and touch. Smell is a big part of how humans perceive our world as well.

His arm-pits excrete sweat rich in his male pheromones and testosterone. While the negative odors may be gone over time, and the smell of his cologne may barely be there, his unique sexual chemical messengers are still there.

I've never been in posession of a guys jacket (-insertforeveralone.jpg here-) but I have walked past some guys that smelled nice and I'm guessing it's a similar smell to what you're referreing to.

It's most likely a combination of his bodywash/shampoo/cologne and a healthy dose of sweat lol. plus some of his pheromones that you're subconsciously getting a whiff of too. xD

Pheromones maybe. Or cologne or the materials of the jacket. Not sure. I don't smell other guys jackets, lol, but maybe one of or all of those three things are the answer.

My first guess would be that he uses a good cologne or body spray. If there isn't any, then, it's his sweat.
