at school this boy I turned around and he was like 10 feet away from me and we looked right at each other and once we made eye contact he smiled at me what does that mean thanks!

It might just be a knee-jerk reaction because he thinks you're pretty. Guys often smile and raise their eyebrows in an involuntary way when they see something they like.

For example, without doing anything out of the ordinary (or rather, out of character for *me*), I can turn around at almost any given moment see some guy smiling/grinning and looking at me -- or at best trying to hold back a smile/grin if it's someone I know. Sometimes it's a moment after I've helped an old person at the Center; sometimes it's after I've told a joke; sometimes it's just a random place and time, and I turn around...

It's something about you -- that "je any sais quo". There's nothing you can do about it, any more than the guy can help but smile and watch you. It's just there. Bask in the moment.
