When a guy calls you exotic, what does it mean exactly?

Guys, when you call a girl exotic, what do you exactly mean by that? I've had guys call me exotic but I'm thinking maybe it was just because most of them was a different race than me lol idk

The actual literal definition of 'exotic' is - Originating in or characteristic of a distant foreign country

e.g a white person would not be exotic to Europe, a black person would not be exotic to africa, an Asian to asia. Either the guy does not know what the word exotic means which is more then likely or he is using it as another way of calling you attractive. He shouldn't have meant it negatively at least

It means you look different in a good way. You don't fit the norm of what he expects in a girl. Something about you stands out to him. So if you have been receiving that compliment, I would say it has something to do with your eye shape just from a quick look at your picture.

If the guy is a not black then he probably means that you look different than other girls he's used to, and he finds black features exotic. If a black guy says it then it means you look like you could be mixed
