Never tried, there's different ways to go about it.. flirt with him a lot though and see if he acts interested.. if he does, try to go further.. if not, don't pursue it.

Well, that is just a guess on my part. Once sex enters the picture, it completely changes the relationship and you can never go back. If/when it doesn't work out, the relationship can never go back to what it was before.

But, if you can convince him that it's worth it, or it is really what you want and you'll live with whatever happens, you might be able to convince him. You have to decide if it is worth it though. We can't tell because we don't know either of you.
