Why do guys ask for your number and they never call?

Sometimes getting girls numbers is a game for guys. The guy that gets the most numbers and/or talks to the most girls is the cool one. Guys can be shy, but they also do things to make them look good in front of their friends. That may or may not be your situation, but I see it happen often.

could be shy

could just have lost interest, yes guys do that, just like girls

Then he should be calling any minute now, if he doesnt, try texting him, if he doesn't reply at all, he's just shy or not interested

Maybe he never had intention of calling you-some guys think it makes them look better the more numbers they get or maybe he lost it.
