Grinding, Whining, Twerking,Tick Tock.

Because I live in South London, the stereotype is all black people (All around Africa and Caribbean) can Grind, Whine, Twek, or Tick Tock.

Your thoughts on this?

Ummm...its because...its TRUE! Just kidding.:) Well,the same idea and stereotype exists here in the states as well. I've been at parties and because I am nearly the only dark skinned person there,some how people think I know all of the choreography to "Single ladies",and people damn near clear the dance floor and try and force me to do it.And lord knows...i cant. -_- Granted I can hold my own on a dance floor anyday,but the whining,ticktocks etc are all just a stereotype that people hold about blacks.It has a lot to do with our culture and what not.Sigh...stereotypes will be around forever.

It is annoying. I mean,i can dance...but I don't sit around all day watching the latest videos and learning choreography for the perfect moment,so I can perform in front of people who aren't going to even PAY me. -_- C'mon now.

they are all types of dancing that are really physical in their nature, you have to have a knack for doing any of it!
