Why is he so nosy!?

I know this guy, we aren't in a relationship. just good friends! but he always ask me who I'm hanging out with what I'm doing every 5 minutes etc.. why is he nosy?

he may like you, so he just wants to know who you are with maybe?

sometimes guys show a bit of envy and jealousy, so they are checking whether you are hanging out with other guys.

He may be trying to make conversation with you, hence the questions.
