Signs a girl wants to be more than friends?

Say you've been friends for a while and the girl decides she wants more. What signs would she give off?

They would start talking to you more, texting you first, trying to plan more events to invite you too, try to be around you more, etc. Its hard, espeacially when you start out as friends, for the girl to start "showing signs", because they'd be nervous to do too much and scare you away or ruin the friendship.

Hints, though, could include them talking about you more, commenting on your appearence, or talking about things you say or trying to make the conversation revolve around you more. Also, touching you! just subtly, like touching your arm, or playing with your hair, your thigh, your hand...

But she might be waiting for you to make the first move too. Its hard to put yourself out there when you arn't sure what the other peson feels, so if you like this girl or if this is a real situation, make sure you're giving her some signs too!

It depends on the girl. Some might change how they talk to you, like become physical when they talk like a touch. Others might also pull away and not talk as much, and simply ignore you because they don't want to be hurt if you don't like them back. There are so many ways it could go, there is no telling exactly what a girl might give as a sign she likes you. I know for me, when I joke around with a guy or slap him lightly when he says something silly or stupid then he can assume I like him. Also, some girls get fidgety and avoid eye contact if they like you. Just asking for universal signs is a big question and different for every girl.

Even the grown-est of grown men become stumped. But there is one sure fire way.. Try to kiss her. If she backs away or gives you the dead fish response you know she isn't into you. Many a time have my plans to politely end a bad date been foiled by my recoiling in disgust at his face coming near me lol.
