Is it bad when boyfriend's friend says I have a fat ass?

So, the other day I was at my boyfriends house and his older guy neighbor probably in his mid 20's left him a message on his phone saying " ...eyy and there some chic with a fat ass walking into your pool area" my boyfriend showed me and we thought it was funny, but when actually I didn't know how to take it . I'm short and could loose a little bit of weight ( 5 to 10 lbs) . but did his buddy mean it in a bad way or as a compliment and/or should I be embarrassed ? and I'm pretty sure some of his other closer buddies heard the message as well. so I don't really know what to think of the situation please help?!

As others have said, to some guys, a girl either has a prominent ass, or she isn't attractive, and those guys often say "that girl has a nice fat ass". That doesn't mean she's fat, or even that her ass is huge, it's just noticeable and pleasant.

But, even if he was being an ass, remember: this is just one random dude's observation, not a judgement of the world about what you look like. Maybe he liked it, and maybe he didn't (he could be into rail-skinny girls), but at the end of the day, you're fine, and you don't need to worry about what this one guy said.

It's not bad in my book. The friend was just complimenting your butt. Take it like any other isolated compliment. Now if this guys was consisitent and persisitent with these compliments that could turn bad otherwise you are good to go.

Don't worry about it it was a compliment, here in Miami it happens all the time girls just take it. As a compliment, it was nothing bad. Be proud of it and so should your boyfriend he has something other guys can't have. : )
