Should girls shave their arms?

Today I heard a guy tell his girlfriend that she should shave her arms. Out of curiosity I looked and I couldn't see any hair on her arms.

Personally, I've got fine blond hair on my arms, so I've never shaved them..

So, the question is, do you think girls should have hairless arms?

Like shaving any other area, I think it should be totally up to the individual, whether they want to or not. If it bugs them, then why not shave it? If it doesn't, they shouldn't feel pressured to.

Personally most of the girls I've seen don't even have very noticeable arm hair, so I don't really think it's necessary at all.

I shave my arms, but that's just personal preference because I love having smooth arms :]

Either way, it's not fair to expect other people to be hairless, especially if it's either a) someone who has light hair, or very little hair, or b) a guy who expects a girl to shave but won't shave himself.

I have very fine blonde hair as well so you can't even see mine, but I don't think shaving arms is very necessary. I mean unless he girl has a jungle of black hair on her arms and feels self conscious then go for it, but I don't think arm hair is a huge deal. In fact I think it looks kind of weird if someone has silky smooth arms.

i definitely do NOT vote on shaving, way too much to keep up with. but, I do however recommend smooth away. the commercials don't lie, it works incredibly and its the same technique as applying lotion to your arms (all you do is rub it around) and your arms are smooth and hairless :)

No! Not unless it's excessive to where it's so noticeable. So noo, I don't think girls should have hairless arms unless that's what they want. That's a lot to ask a girl when she'd have to continuously keep it up then. I'd leave that completely up to her. Like this guy that told his girlfriend to shave probably won't even be around that long. Now just because of that rude statement he made it'll start looking more noticeable to her than before and she might start feeling self conscious of it when it's really nothing.

I don't care as long as it is barely visable. She doesn't have to shave if she has fine blonde hair. But if she has dark hair and grows a lot of it, then yes, she should shave.

I'd never shave mine but my arm hair is blonde so it isn't really noticeable. I think if the girl wants to shave her arms then go for it but if it is pressure from a guy or anyone else for that matter then sod them off lol. Girls should only do it for themselves.

Oh yeah! and while we're at it let's shave our head and eyebrows too that way we can be completely hairless and they won't anything else to complain about. (sarcasm)

i shave because I have dark hair and it was noticeable. if it isn't something that really stands out and causes you grief, then don't do it. sometimes it can be a pain, but it is worth it for me. I wouldn't suggest it unless it is a real problem for you

Ive shaved my arms since 7th grade! I hate hair! other peoples hair doesn't bother me.. its just my own.. I think its more of a personal choice.. do whatever your comfortable with :)

I think that if a girl has darker arm hair, then she probably should. Obviously it's not as much of a standard as shaving your legs. But if you have lighter hair then its not a big deal. But many girls do it, and their arms are sexy and soft.

Don't shave it. If it's sticking out like fluff, then shave it. But most girls have barely noticeable arm hair. It's just the nature of the body.

I think it makes my arms looks sexy and defined and not to mention how smooth they feel! I'd f*** me for that reason alone haha but don't do it if you don't plan on keeping up with it.

Yes, a woman who shaves her forearms because she knows how smoking hot they look on her! Hairless forearms on females are the bomb, they're definitely a sexual attraction to both men and women. There's a reason all good looking female singers, actresses, and attractive non-celebrity females who take care of themselves from ages 14 and up shave/wax/laser hair remove their forearms. Except for old ladies who don't care or butch women intentionally trying to make a statement by looking as manly as possible, thinking it'll attract women. Once in a blue moon it actually does attract a full-blown lesbian who is insecure and lost. But all the hot bi-sexual women I've gone down on over the years - white, black, hispanic (I attract them like catnip) - all have told me they're attracted to fellow girly-girls, not bull-dikes. To sum it up, if you wanna look hot, shave your forearms. It takes 1 1/2 -2 minutes every 2-3 days, no big deal. If you don't care or don't want to look good, keep the hair.

A white girl with blonde arm hair that isn't super thick probably doesn't need to shave, but if your hair is thick or many shades darker than your skin tone you should. I shave my arms because my hair is black.

there is nothing more hideous on a girl than a thick coat of dark arm hair. just gives he the willies thinking about it. ughh. blond, fine. preferably none.

I personally find it to be a big turn-off when girls have hair on their arms or legs. But that's just me. I say smooth legs and arms are great! =]
