What Does Amorous Really Mean?

Hey I just had a question what does this word really mean and does it mean to two people who are in a relationship? I s real love or something I just want to know what does it mean a guy is feeling this way?

i always took it to be an adjective form of love. but here:

Strongly attracted or disposed to love, especially sexual love.

Indicative of love or sexual desire: an amorous glance.

Of or associated with love: an amorous poem.

Being in love; enamored: He had been amorous of her since the day they met.

"Amourous" is from French. "Amour" means love; "Amorous" means expressing love.

For me, Amorous usually has a classier, romantic connotation -- you're sexually attracted to someone, but also adore everything about them. Amorous also implies (to me, at least) that the expression of love is sly or subtle.
