How to meet girls over summer?

Semester break (I'm 24 and go to college) is just two weeks away, and after that, I always seem to socialize less. Unfortunately, I can be very shy/quiet but I do like to meet people. I've never had a girlfriend, and meeting girls can be tricky for me. The thing is, at least during semesters, there are a lot more girls around to run into and meet. Summer however, is usually very lonely for me; I never know how to meet girls. I have a very small social circle and no real female friends that would help meet girls through friends.

What has anyone else in this situation done?

Im a girl and the best thing to do is look all nice ya know cute clean fresh walk around town a little bit maybe an old freind you always kinda liked, give her a call! THROW A PARTAY! invite everyone of your freinds or like everyone from highschool! have a reunion show the girls how sweet and cute you are!

i'm a shy girl and I'm also almost done college. the best way is to be approachable. go up and talk to her. I wish guys would just go up to me and say something. I dont' want to be lonely either!
