Okay, I won't be asking for much around here, mostly just giving advice, because I am good at that to girls, not guys, and most definitely not myself, which is why I am asking.
So I met this girl a few months ago at a little social gathering, we talked/texted a lot for some while then just recent hung out a few times. We had some good times, especially when I really had to prove I liked her because somebody else was trying to get with her too when he knew I liked her and she told me she liked me. But anyways, so my brothers all have a history of being clingy, which you know, kind of makes me have that in my genes, and I kind of realized I was starting to be clingy, so I made the biggest mistake here by asking her if I was annoying her (Because I was texting her so much, and trying to see if we could hang out) over the phone, which I greatly regret. So after I did this I decided to 1, use reverse psychology to make myself appear like I was not clingy, then after that 2, use will power to not be clingy. So my idea of reverse psychology was to just not text her/call her for a few days, or until she did it to me, making her wonder "Well this guy was hooked onto talking to me, then just randomly quit" so it would make her want to start talking again, right? Well, yes it would have done that, because I study all of this stuff with the mind, the subconscious and the works, except because I followed my own advice, that only seems to work when I give it to girls, I really hurt myself here. She has not contacted me and it really worries me, because, hey some people reading may find this cute, others well... weird, but I really have the feeling that I LOVE her, when maybe I only like her a lot, but this is just ridiculous, plus I put myself into the same old position of "The advice giving friend" which basically means I am the guy that "Would never work out because if something went wrong then they loose me" and that person is considered one of the most valuable people in life.
So girls, what do you think I should do? How can I fix this? Do I keep waiting? Do I need to say something? What, please help me, I will return the favor, I promise, giving advice to girls is one thing I can just do, without much thought.

Well, I texted her twice today with no replies until just now when I asked if she was busy, with a simple "yes."

Stuff happened, we did not work out in the least bit but I did say sorry and at least became friends with her, but I am not looking for a relationship with her anymore.
