It's fine to be a quiet guy but please if you like a girl, go for it. And by go for it I mean make it obvious that you like her and ask her out! I liked a "quiet" guy for the longest time and I swear he liked me too but he never made a move. So... I moved on and am with another guy now. Go for what you want!

Plus, I think its the cutest thing ever when a shy guy goes out of his comfort zone for a girl and is only talkative with her but is quiet around all other girls. It's special :)

Quiet guys are very pleasant to be around and enjoyable company. It's the very loud and obnoxious types or the very boisterous and extremely talkative type that drive me nuts. But, then again I was never one to frequent peroxisms during conversation.

There are many forms of quiet in men-- Like the strong and silent types, the creepy quiet types, and the super smart quiet types. It really depends on your other qualities.

I like strong and silent guys; I think they're mysterious, especially if they're smart and have nice eyes. But if you give off a creepy vibe and are quiet, it can really scare girls away.

Quiet as in "introverted?" I'm like that too. They seem mysterious because they don't really talk a lot and to many people. They're probably great to confide in keep secrets. Dating a quiet guy would bother me, as long as he talks to me.
